After only a few weeks together, Derin and his new ride Dadjak Ter Puttenen showed that they are a real match when picking up placings in two of the biggest classes at CSI2* Lier (BEL) this weekend.

After jumping clear on the fences in their first class, Derin and Dadjak finished second in Saturday's 1.45m Grand Prix qualifier counting for the Longines Ranking after a double clear round. In Sunday’s 1.45m Longines Ranking Grand Prix, Dadjak yet again jumped clear in the first round to move on to the jump-off where he had an unfortunate pole down – still good enough to finish 10th.

Flaming Key SR Z opened with a third place in Friday’s 6-year-old class, and went on to finish as no. eight in Sunday’s final.

Koblenz vd Middelstede and Je Suis van de Bien also jumped clear rounds, contributing to a good weekend in Bonheiden for Derin.

Derin's next stop will be the CSI3* event in Moorsele (BEL).
