Derin has decided to retire his long-time partner Harry K from the sport. The 16-year-old stallion is already back in his birth-country Denmark, where he will enjoy his retirement.

Together, Derin and Harry had lots of success. They won the CSI4* World Cup in Doha in 2016 and the CSIO3* Grand Prix in Drammen in 2017. The two were also on the winning Turkish Nations Cup team at CSIO3* Sopot back in 2014.

“Harry has been not only my best friend but a major part of our family for over 7 years,” Derin says. “He has made so many of my dreams come true and helped me build the career that I have today. The love, the appreciation and the gratitude I have for Harry is indescribable. I cannot thank him enough for all that he has done for me, my family and my team, both in the ring and on a daily basis. I am confident that Harry will have the best retirement back in his hometown in Denmark with his old friends. He deserves nothing but the best!”
