Fantastic news: Derin has been selected for the prestigious Young Riders Academy. Derin will be a part of the educational program for 2016. Only twelve riders have been selected; six for the full program and six for the educational program – all between the age of 18-21.
The Selection Panel, consisting of Otto Becker, Dirk Demeersman, Emile Hendrix and sports manager Sven Holmberg have evaluated all candidates’ profiles, attitude, capabilities, motivation together with competition results to choose the members of the 2016-team.
“This year the Board and the Selection Panel have really had a very challenging task in choosing the final team. National Federations presented to selection 2016 a group of athletes exceptionally motivated and technically prepared,” commented Sport Manager Sven Holmberg.
The Full Program offers six months of tailor-made training and boarding at a renowned professional stable and includes qualified education in communication, business and economics, veterinary and legal practice connected to show jumping. The Educational Program-team will gather during the year for the 4-5 academic sessions, this team will also benefit from YRA support during the jumping season.
