Successful summer season

When the show season finally resumed following the EHV-1 outbreak, Koblenz vd Middelstede immediately showed good form and at the beginning of May he finished with a 9th place in the CSI4* 1.55m Hubside Jumping Grand Prix in Grimaud, France. 


At the middle of May, Derin travelled to Gorla Minore in Italy where Hunter (Bernini x Voltaire) showed off and won a CSI3* 1.45m. Caprice d’Elle picked up a 4th place in a CSI4* 1.45m and Koblenz vd Middelstede jumped clear in a 1.50m Longines Ranking class. Faline des Chaines showed great form and jumped clear in all her six classes, twice placing fourth.


The month of May concluded with Pride of the Lowlands BH jumping to a win in Peelbergen. 

 

In June, Derin got the opportunity to take part at the prestigious CSIO5* event in La Baule, France where he competed Koblenz vd Middelstede and Hunter. 

 

The highlight of July was Derin and Koblenz vd Middelstede’s double clear round for the Turkish team in the CSIO3* Nations Cup Budapest, Hungary. Prior to the event in Budapest, Faline des Chaines brought home a win from the 6-year-old class in Peelbergen while Hunter placed third in the Medium Tour Final set at 1.40/1.45m at the same venue. 

 

In August, Empire EH Z (Emerald x Darco) impressed with a win and a second place in the CSIYH1* classes at Sentower Park, while Caprice d’Elle topped a CSI2* 1.40m at the same venue.
